Play: The Language of Childhood
More than 200 children in under-resourced schools are discovering, imagining, and learning through locally crafted play-based tools. At Right Path, we harness the transformative power of play—not just for fun, but as a foundation for creativity, critical thinking, and emotional resilience. We’re dedicated to sparking curiosity and helping every child reach their full potential.
Breaking the Chains of Survival
In many parts of Eastern Uganda, children are expected to act as caregivers, fetch water, or contribute to household income—robbing them of their chance to simply be children. At Right Path, we’re rewriting this story. Through our Community Restoration Centres, over 80 marginalized children have found safe spaces for healing, counseling, and education—helping them recover from trauma and return to school. These children no longer have to shoulder adult responsibilities—they can focus on their futures, not just their survival.
Empowering Caregivers: The Backbone of Childhood
Behind every thriving child is a dedicated caregiver. Right Path is strengthening families by training over 20 Early Childhood Development (ECD) teachers and 15 community leaders, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to foster nurturing environments. Our training programs empower caregivers to listen, support, and build an environment where children can flourish. Strong caregivers lead to strong children, and strong children build strong communities.
Communities That Protect Childhood
No child should grow up in an environment where their rights are not upheld. That’s why Right Path goes beyond individual homes—we mobilize schools, leaders, and communities to ensure that every child’s right to a joyful, safe childhood is protected. Through 3 major awareness campaigns on child protection, we’ve reached over 300 families, building a culture of care, advocacy, and respect for children’s rights. We are raising a generation of advocates who believe in children’s potential.
